Take a chance on a new life and maybe you’ll find your happy ever after. Because true love is always worth the risk…
Handsome prince, beautiful house, fabulous job? Polly has none of these. All she has to her name is a string of failed relationships and she’s up to her ears in debt. She sees herself as a hopeless case and would do anything to change her luck.
Simon is approaching the big 50. He’s off his game at work, his kids don’t seem to notice he exists and his wife seems to think he’s made of money. As for sex …what’s that?
So when the opportunity comes for both of them to swap their lives for a life of luxury, they jump at the chance. For Simon a life of helicopters, fast cars and hot babes beckons. For Polly, it’s all diamonds, spa days and celebrity parties. What more could they want?
Trouble is, the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Is life in the fast lane more than either of them can cope with?
A witty, heart warming read, perfect for fans of Fiona Gibson and Carole Matthews.
Praise for Carol Wyer:

Life Swap really surprised me in the way it turned out, unfortunately I don’t think that what happened was a complete positive.

I’m trying to write this without spoiling the reveal and what is going on. But it is really hard when all I want to do is moan about what happened in the beginning of the book .Yes it fooled me and I believed it but at the same time because there was hints to suggest otherwise, this fooling wasn’t very good.  I’m confused guys and I have probably confused you. Arrggghhh.

Also everyone moans. This book really takes to heart the grass is always greener on the other side… And it did make me think would I ever want to swap with someone else? And the honest answer is no because who knows what secrets people are hiding.

This was an enjoyable read, and I did want to know what would happen and how the swap would end. But at the same time I felt a little disappointed and can’t be bothered with this book.

One great thing about this book is that it let me get to know a new author. And despite not being overwhelmed with this book, I will be giving this author another go.

Life Swap is a book for the fans, an interesting read with a fantastic ending.

Sorry for only just spotting this and replying.
Thank you very much for reviewing Life Swap and I am so glad you’ll be looking at other books I have written.(They are not all as confounding!)
I wanted to make people think about their lives when I wrote Life Swap. Too many folk believe that other people’s lives are better than their own but I wanted to inject some hilarity into it all too so it’s a mix of bizarre with a hidden meaning that you spotted. Thank you for not spoiling the twist.
As for swapping…no, I’ll stick with my life with Mr Grumpy. “It’s better the devil you know”.
