Amber craves excitement and adventure. Instead, she’s being bullied at school for having two dads, and life at home isn’t much better. Inspired by Oscar Wilde, Amber realizes that among the millions of people in London, there must be others who feel the same as she does; other dreamers – moonlight dreamers. After chance encounters with Maali, Sky and Rose, Amber soon recruits the three girls to the Moonlight Dreamers. It’s high time they started pursuing their dreams, and how better than with the support of friends?

The Moonlight Dreamers was thoroughly enjoyable read. To be honest I think my younger self would have found it more enjoyable than my now self. It will definitely be a hit with the teenage girl in your life.

The four girls are quirky and unique, each brings something to the friendship and each has something to gain. The girls refuse to be cowed by popular opinion and the this group,  The Moonlight Dreamers, makes them stronger.

This felt inspiring and thought-provoking and left me with some confidence to be more myself. The Moonlight Dreamers deals with issues young girls face to today and come out on top. It shows to have strengths in your believes and to be accepting of others. It proves that you shouldn’t allow people’s opinions to dictate what you want to do or be in life.

The ending was sweet and heart-warming with a happy ending for all and you could feel the friendship of the four girls seeping out of the book. It was divine.
