Monthly Round-up, linking everything that has happened in the last month, posted on the last day of said month. This Round-up August 2020. A couple of days late because I had a blog tour on the 31st August. And that obviously has to take priority on the blog!! This month has felt like a strange one, as I am finally getting back to normal. Or the new normal. After four months of being furloughed I have gone back to work full time. And let me tell you it is strange to be back in the office. But this has meant that my blog has suffered a bit. You may have noticed that for the first three weeks I did not post a single post. I just didn’t have any motivation to write. However I have spent the bank holiday weekend tackling some of my reviews so here is hoping that September will be a better month! Monthly Round-up, linking everything that has happened in the last month, posted on the last day of said month. This Round-up July 2020. This month, I surpassed my reading challenge on Goodreads. So now I am debating whether to increase it or not?    I think the reason for completing the challenge so early is simply because I have more time on my hands. I also started to cycle a little bit more and for my birthday my family when on a birthday cycle. Such fun! We ended up on a twenty mile ride and I achieved some of my personal bests. Including going 17 miles per hour up hill. However my legs were jelly after that. May was the second month of being furloughed and it still is really strange to not get up and go to work. I honestly cannot wait until I can back to my old routine. The good news is that it has given me loads of time to sort out my blog and do all the admin that I have been putting off for months, if not years. Hopefully you can all see the changes? Another thing I’ve been doing is putting my reviews up on Goodreads, which I had not realised that I was so far behind on. So much so that this happened. Yep, for a brief while I was #2 top reviewers and #7 top reader in the UK! Monthly Round-up, linking everything that has happened in the last month, posted on the last day of said month. This Round-up April 2020. So how was April for everyone? Like everyone else I have been staying at home as part of the UK lockdown. Not going out has meant that I have been catching up with my TBR pile and I have to say my reviews for the next month are looking good! Although if anyone does have any book recommendations please let me know as I don’t want my TBR to shrink too much. I have also had time to edit the blog. While most of these changes are small and you may not notice it I am so happy with what I have achieved. There is a lot more to come and I am excited for what is coming.
