Monthly Round-Up! June 2018

Monthly feature, linking everything that has happened in the last month, posted on the last day of said month. This Round-up June 2018. June seems to have flown by a lot faster than I thought it would! Somehow I have managed to get to the end of the month without doing much review reading. I read plenty of non review books, but I didn’t feel like there were books I could easily review here as they were mainly  rereads. I have to be honest I will probably be a bit quiet on here for the moment but I am planning to read a bit more later in the year. Reviews:   Blog Tours:   Challenges: As per usual I’m participating in the Goodreads Challenge. Hum, I don’t seem to be doing so well on this. I lowered my change on purpose this year. However, if I have a holiday I can bring it back?   So what do you think of my Round-up June 2018? What have you read this month? Let me know in the comments below! Subscribe to Blog via […]

Today I am super excited to welcome to the blog Sophie Jenkins author of The Forgotten Guide to Happiness. As always don’t forget to check out the other blogs on this tour for other amazing content! Sophie Jenkins : What I really Think about Writing Groups…. In The Forgotten Guide to Happiness, Lana Green, the main character, becomes a tutor at a writing group, and it’s a situation that appeals to me because I know plenty about them. Writing groups are brilliant and wherever I’ve lived, I’ve made sure I belong to one. But I’ve never taught a writing group. It’s my biggest nightmare and it was very easy to imagine what I’d be like if I had. The complete lack of authority, the wild optimism, the arguments… and when it all seems to be getting out of hand, looking hopefully up at the clock only to see that time has stopped. Being a published writer […]
