Here for everyone who wants to know everything about me!
My bookish / non-bookish life:
I studied Archaeology and Classical Studies for my undergraduate and Law for my post-graduate degree. I now work at a Law firm as a Trainee Solicitor and I am very close to qualifying!!
I have loved books since I was a child. They have allowed me to escape into another world and let my imagination run wild. As a current law student I spent more time reading statue and case law than reading for pleasure. This is why I have decided to write this blog. It gives me an excuse to pick up a book and enjoy it.
My favourite genres are fantasy and chick lit. However I will happily read anything so long as it has a good story. My bookshelf is full of books that are battered from being well-thumbed. Some are in need of replacement, but to replace would be like losing a dear friend, the history of the book forgotten. It’s a sentimental thing… My bookshelf is also full of new books begging to be read, a pile which never seems to get smaller.
But that is the best thing about books, you can happily curl up with an old favourite and a cup of tea or you can excitedly read a new book with a new world waiting to be explored.
