Guest Post: Q&A with Mark B. Mills, author of Waiting for Doggo

Today I am delighted to be part of the Blog Tour for Waiting for Doggo by Mark B. Mills. And today I have a Q&A with Mark B Mills. I loved Doggo! This was a brilliant, funny and extremely entertaining read. I will at some point attempt to get my dog onto the bus, maybe  into Uni, as a ‘mental health companion’ (thanks so much Mark for this idea!) If you’re still not sure about this book then see my review. If waiting for Doggo was turned into a movie, who would be you dream team to produce it? And who would you cast as your characters and why? That certainly would be amazing. In an ideal world I’d want Working Title Films to be involved. I came close to working with them on a few occasions when I was a screenwriter, but the projects never quite came off. Since ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’ they’ve cemented their reputation for making great comedy films, everything from rom coms (‘Notting Hill’, ‘Bridget Jones’s Diary’) through to farce (‘Johnny English’, ‘Hot Fuzz’). Dreaming on…. […]

Review: A Place for Us Part Four by Harriet Evans

I received this book for free from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.A Place for Us Part 4 by Harriet Evans Published by Headline on October 23, 2014 Genres: Contemporary, Fiction, Romance Pages: 116 Format: E-Arc Source: Netgalley Buy on Amazon Goodreads A new direction for this Sunday Times bestselling author: here is an emotionally charged novel that will wrap you up in a warm embrace as it nods to the golden age of epic women’s fiction but with a vibrancy of its own. Don’t miss the concluding part of the Winter family story… So I finally got to read the final part of A Place for Us Part Four! And yay, it was so good. Part four ties up all the loose ends, tidies the story up. But it does it so well that we don’t  seem to lose momentum. It is more gentle than the other parts as it solves the issues and sorts everything out so that there is a happily […]
