For this Movie Musical Challenge I’ve made a list of 15 musicals that I haven’t yet seen and probably ought to have. The challenge is throughout the year and once watched I’ll put my thoughts up on the blog. Today its the turn of Chicago.
So the twelfth movie for the challenge is Chicago (2002), starring stars Catherine Zeta-Jones, Renée Zellweger and Richard Gere.
Despite never watching this film before I know the songs extremely well. I have the film soundtrack on my Ipod and regularly play the album from beginning to end because the songs are easy to sing along to and even without speak you still get a sense of the story.
I honestly love ever song in this show but I guess the classic/favourite include: ‘All that Jazz’, ‘Cell Block Tango’ and ‘Razzle Dazzle’, but all the songs are incredibly catchy so each to their own.
This is an energetic and enthusiastic musical that will get your feet stomping and leave you dazzled with the spectacle.
