Last year I set myself six little resolutions. Some of them I achieved. Others I failed miserably. This year I hope to achieve all my goals, but we will find out at the end of the year.
So my goals this year are:
To actually complete a challenge I set myself
Last year I set the task of completing a bookish challenge. I failed. This year I just want to complete one challenge. It doesn’t have to be bookish. I can be anything. And seeing as I be announcing a couple of challenges soon this goal should be achievable. This year at least.
Reduce the amount of ARC’s / Netgalley books I have to read
I feel like this is an on-going aim. But a good one nevertheless. Some books that publishers have kindly given me are from 2014. And with that now being three years on, I need to get cracking.
Post some of my features more regularly
I feel that I’m quite good when it comes to posting reviews (some of you may disagree with me). But when it comes to posting features I fail miserably. I’m going to try and promise to post something for each feature once a month. No matter how hard it may seem.
Be more active in the blogosphere
I’m never very good at commenting on other peoples blogs or using twitter or other social media. But this year I’m going to try my hardest.
Reducing the TBR pile
An ongoing aim. I look at all the books I have and I am physically daunted by the masses that are yet unread or the favourites that are calling out to be unread. This year I want to spend less time getting books and more time reducing that TBR pile. If I ever had a day where I only had twenty books on my TBR that would be amazing!
