Review:

So if you have been living in a cave, like I have The Stranger is probably a series that has passed you by. For me, I delayed watching as everyone I spoke to raved about this seres. I just didn’t want to watch and be disappointed by it not living up to the hype. Luckily for me this was not the case.

My whole family decided to start this series. The original plan was to watch a couple of episodes each night. But we ended up watching all eight episodes in one sitting.

The Stranger is an additive watch that will have you bamboozled by the sub-plots, taken down the wrong paths and cause you to shout at the screen for the characters to make a different decision. And as a bookworm, the fact that this is based on a book by an incredible author – Harlan Coben – that there was something irresistible about watching. It was compelling and there was a need to know how all the pieces fitted together and a need to solve the mystery. Add to that an incredible ensemble cast and you know that you’re in for a treat.

One thing that was frustrating, but a given, due to the build up of tension was the disappointing ending. However I think that this was more due to the adrenaline rush than anything else. So I shouldn’t really complain.

The Stranger will have your heart pumping, and you will be left guessing how this series will end and how everything will tie up. Then trust me this is the series for you. If I could forget who was to blame for the events I would be putting this on again.
