Monthly Round-up, linking everything that has happened in the last month, posted on the last day of said month. This Round-up August 2016. Currently reading: Reviews: Blog Tours: Pastime Pleasures: Challenges: A new year and a new challenge. This year I am participating in the movie musical challenge hosted by Bookish Whimsy. This month I have watch Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and it was my favourite musical of the year so far. As per usual I’m participating in the Goodreads Challenge. I’ve pledged to read 100 books! And so far have managed to read 64 books. I’m 4 behind but it is an improvement on last month when I was five behind. Monthly Round-up, linking everything that has happened in the last month, posted on the last day of said month. This Round-up May 2016. Sorry this is a bit late. But as they always say, better late than never! Currently reading: Reviews: Blog Tours: Bookish Gossip: Apparently this month I have nothing to say, which is strange because I feel like I’ve been really active on the blog. Oh well Book vs. Film: Been a bit too busy to focus on this. Hoping to get myself organised and schedule a few posts! Pastime Pleasures: No Pastime Pleasure either as I wasn’t really sure which book I wanted to recommend. Currently reading: Reviews: Blog Tours: I wasn’t on the blog tour but feel that it is appropriate to put here, I hosted a giveaway for a copy of the brilliant The Second Love of My Life by Victoria Walters and let me tell you this book should be on your summer reading list. Book vs. Film: Challenges: As per usual I’m participating in the Goodreads Challenge. I’ve pledged to read 100 books! And so far have managed to read 36 books. So I’m an incredible four books ahead of schedule! This year I am participating in the movie musical challenge hosted by Bookish Whimsy. I only to watched one musical this month – the brilliant The Gay Divorcee with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, love this dance partnership, and the songs and this is a gorgeous gorgeous film so if you haven’t already, go watch. I managed to watch two musicals this month – the brilliant Gulls and Dolls with its wonderful musical and High Society which left me a little disappointed. As per usual I’m participating in the Goodreads Challenge. I’ve pledged to read 100 books! And so far have managed to read 26 books.
