It’s time to cosy up this winter...
When Roxy proposes to her boyfriend Jackson in a moment of madness on live TV, she’s mortified when he rejects her.
To escape the embarrassment, she takes a job working as baking assistant at the idyllic Log Fire Cabin. Roxy hopes the new job will take her mind off Jackson, because to her eternal annoyance, she hasn’t been able to stop thinking about him...
But when Jackson turns up at the cabin unexpectedly, things begin to go wrong. With a sprinkle of snow, the help of new friends and more than a couple of mince pies, can Roxy heal her heart in time for Christmas?
‘Definitely one to curl up with this winter’ NetGalley Reviewer‘Utterly enchanting, I already want to return to the Log Fire Cabin for yet another book’ GoodReads Reviewer‘I loved every bit of this book, an absolutely perfect feel-good Christmas read.’ GoodReads Reviewer
So I accidentally set the publication date for this to today like an idiot, but it’s up now! Second Chances at Log Fire Cabin was an enchanting and gorgeous read, that was perfect as we now hit the colder months, and need to snuggle under a blanket.
I wanted to read this book from the moment that I saw the cover, it was gorgeous and despite it being October, I started to feel that it was time to start the Christmas reads. Yep, I said it!
Poppy’s boyfriend proposes the week before Christmas, however she’s unsure of what to do. In the meantime, she gets an opportunity to cook at a luxurious cabin and meet the very handsome owner. So who will she choose, her boyfriend or the handsome owner?
Second Chances at Log Fire Cabin was a lovely story. That was full of secrets waiting to be discovered with each page that is turned. It is a quick easy read, that is filled with romance, food and most importantly a great story!
