Last week was my turn on the blog tour for The Forgotten Village with an extract. And today I am finally reviewing this great book.

The Forgotten Village is a dual tale that flits between the past and the present.

While on holiday with her boyfriend, Melissa discovers the village of Tyneham. Abandoned during the War, with the promise that they could return after the War was over, it is only in 2018 that the village has now been opened to the public.

Melissa is drawn to the village and in particular to a photograph of Lady Veronica. Intrigued by the photo, Melissa is determined to find out more about Lady Veronica and the history of the village. While she finds out more we are also introduced to Lady Veronica and the harsh life that she leads.

This is a gripping tale about love, friendship, secrets and betrayal. You will be swept into a historical tale and the mystery to solve.
